Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to dispatch orders within 2–3 working days. During particularly busy periods or when we're attending food shows and events, dispatch may occasionally take a little longer.

Which courier do you use?

We send orders using Royal Mail or DHL, depending on the size and contents of your order.

How are chilled products delivered?

Our chilled products are packed in insulated temperature-controlled packaging to help ensure they arrive in excellent condition.

Can I freeze your products?

Yes. Our bacon can be frozen at home if you won't be using it straight away. Simply place it in your freezer before the use-by date and defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking.

Our jams and BBQ rubs are shelf-stable products and do not require freezing. Please store them in accordance with the instructions on the packaging.

Are your products suitable for gifting?

Absolutely! Many of our products are popular gifts, and we also offer gift cards and carefully selected gift packs.

Do you offer trade or wholesale?

Yes. We supply farm shops, delis, butchers, restaurants, wholesalers and distributors throughout the UK. Please get in touch via our Contact page if you're interested in stocking Welshhomestead Smokery products.

Where are you based?

We're based on the edge of the beautiful Cambrian Mountains in West Wales, where all of our products are made by our awesome team

Can I collect my order?

At the moment we primarily offer delivery. If you're interested in collection, please contact us before placing your order and we'll do our best to help.

Do you attend food festivals and events?
