Nestled in the Cambrian Mountains of West Wales, Welshhomestead Smokery is our family-run smokehouse founded by Claire and Chris, where traditional smoking meets bold flavours, curious ideas and a love of sharing good food.
What began as a simple experiment smoking bacon and chillies has grown into an award-winning range of smoked jams, bacon and BBQ rubs, enjoyed by customers across the UK. But despite how much we've grown, our philosophy hasn't changed. We still believe that the very best food takes time, care and just a little bit of woodsmoke.

Welshhomestead Smokery isn't based on an industrial estate or in a factory.
It's here on our smallholding in the heart of rural West Wales.
Surrounded by hills, woodland and wildlife, this is where we develop recipes, host workshops, grow produce in our kitchen garden and welcome visitors who want to experience life around the smokehouse for themselves. For us, the landscape isn't just a backdrop—it's part of everything we do.
Like many good stories, ours began with a question.

Over the years we're proud to have received multiple Great Taste Awards and national industry recognition, but the greatest compliment is still hearing that one of our products has become a staple in someone's kitchen or that a workshop has inspired them to try something new at home.
